Celebrating Independence Day around the world and right in your backyard. In 2021, that is the name of the game. With the pandemic slowly receding (we hope!) and life creeping back outside and in, it certainly has a different look and feel.

Words and phrases typically meant for outdoor activities are starting to become part of our normal vocabulary. No longer does it feel strange when someone utters a phrase, like:

• Let’s go for a walk,
• Go outside and play with the dog,
• Picnic Time!
• Play ball
• Skip walking and take the Metro
• I’ll be late at the office 
• Honey, here’s your To-Do list 

The T|W Tote collection is ready too! We have upped our game, including more colors since last year and added some new and exciting accessories. Here’s a quick snapshot of us before and after!

Our ShoulderStraps - Take a closer look!

Both Luminous and Sorrel come with Shoulder Straps, but they are very different. Luminous sports its gold strap hooks on the side of the tote, allowing for easy one shoulder carrying. Many female clients have commented to us that it is their preferred carry method.

Sorrel, on the other hand, has its gun metal strap hooks on the back of the tote. This adds stability and comfort when carrying your tote, messenger style.

How did we know where to place these hooks?  We listen to and hear our Customers! User feedback and UAT (User Acceptance Testing) are very important tools for us at T|W Tote.

 Our Color Collection - YesterYear

Mero - represents a favorite vacation spot in Dominica,  the Mero Sand Beach. This beach showcases soft silky volcanic powder silica, and is also a client favorite. The Mero Tote gets its name from this Beach. The interior of the tote sports our signature cognac color.  

Our Luminous tote is named after one of Jamaica’s famous landmarks, the Luminous Lagoon. The Lagoon stretches along the marshlands of Trelawny from the small community of Rock to the town of Falworth. The exhilarating color of Luminous allows any professional the ability to STEP OUT of the Box but still retain the professional look.  Its interior is a lite grey tone which affords a clean, crisp look. The beauty of our interiors is that it wipes clean with a disinfectant wipe or a damp cloth..

Sorrel - it’s color is from the Roselle plant also known as ‘Hibiscus Sabsariffa’. This plant thrives in Caribbean regions due to favorable weather conditions. Hughley popularly as a drink in the Caribbean, it is made from the dried or fresh sepals of the bright red and sometimes crimson colored flower.

Guinep - another of our professional totes comes with a red interior.  Like our other totes, they are made of Vegan Leather and are hand-sewn. All designed in the USA!

All of our totes measure 10.0”h x 9.4”w x 5.5”d; and their interiors are durable and water-repellant.

We started out with a small but powerful collection. As previously mentioned, we have since expanded to include (2) new colors: Cassava and Tamarind. Like the others, they are hand-sewn and made of Vegan Leather.

No adult should have to struggle to find a professional, yet stylish lunch bag to confidently carry their meals to work. When most people think of buying a stylish lunch box, they don’t know where to start. The majority of consumers will pull out their smart device and start by doing a quick search on Google and type in “stylish adult lunch boxes” or “professional lunch bags for adults” and struggle to find that perfect item that matches their style. To this day, some people still use a brown paper lunch bag to carry their home-made meals to the office. As a company we want to change that and become the premiere brand for all your favorite lunch tote products.

T|W Tote has reinvented the way shoppers look at lunch boxes with the introduction of their professional lunch totes for men and women of all ages.  Their goal is to design fashionable vegan leather lunch bags that compliment any style.

As natives from the West Indies, the founders of T|W Tote, Shallon and Sherika specialize in researching and designing products that solve overlooked problems. Not only do our lunch totes keep your items at a consistent right temperature, they also make carrying food convenient whether you are traveling to work or heading to an event.

Once you visit our site, you may notice that the names of our items are quite unique.  We have had several customers ask us, “Where do we get the names of our totes from?”  The names of our bags come from Caribbean culture.  Sherika is from Jamaica while Shallon is from Trinidad.  As the business grew, there was much conversation concerning how we can honor our heritage through our products.  It was then that the idea of naming the colors of the lunch totes after island favorites was born.
